A pair of colourful prints in a frieze style illustrating hunting scenes shows hunters preceded by their dogs. Aldin was renowned for his hunting scenes, of which this pair is an excellent example.

The print illustrates a merry company of jolly hunters in the aftermath of a pleasurable dinner: raised glasses, singing, smoking pipes, running dogs etc. The Hunt Supper is part of the Fallowfield Hunt series, which was a great success at the turn of the century, both in the UK and the US.
