A detailed plan of the city, in the mid-18th century with a decorative cartouche “ANTWERP A strong, large and Beautiful City on ye River Scheld, in the Dutchy of Brabant, Subject to ye Queen of Hungary”. Key at lower edge explains different stages of the city’s development. There is an inset entitled “Marquisate of Antwerp Part of the H. Roman Empire” which shows the surrounding towns.
Fine condition; top margin a little narrow.
