Map of southern Portugal and the Algarve, with title at lower left and list of the kings of Portugal at upper right. In the early eighteenth century, French cartography overtook the Dutch in terms of accuracy and design. Chiquet’s delightful Nouveau et Curieux Atlas was typical product of the time.

Good margins. Ink mark affects sea at lower centre. Very good condition.
