A very beautiful map of Sussex with inset of Chichester at top left enclosed in a strapwork border. Title at top centre with royal coat of arms to the right, cartouche at lower right containing text on the Norman invasion of 1066. Five shields bearing the arms of five earls at lower entre, numerous ships and sea monsters off shore
