View of Tyrus, modern day Sour, near the Lebanese-Israeli border. Once an island, it was joined to the mainland when King Nebuchudnezzar laid siege to it for 13 years. This handsome view, from the sea, shows ruins in the water, and on land, a few buildings and palm trees, ships in the foreground. Title at top centre.
