William Alexander was an English artist who was attached to Lord MacCartney’s expedition to China. The marvellous work he produced was published in George Staunton’s Account of the expedition.
Good wide margins, a little spotted and darkened at edge of sheet, but well away from the clean and crisp impression. Fine condition.
