Attractive town plan of Münster in northern Germany, with town shields on either side. List of principal buildings at lower right. This town plan was one of many engravings originally published in Merian’s Theatrum Europaeum that were incorporated into later editions of Gottfried’s chronicles.

Slightly darkened on centrefold. Very good condition.
