Beautiful view of Baden in Switzerland, looking upstream towards the covered bridge, with Wettingen beyond. This view was one of many engravings originally published in Merian’s Theatrum Europaeum that were incorporated into later editions of Gottfried’s chronicles.

Clightly darkened on centrefold. Very good condition.
