Clear and accurate map of what is now the eastern part of Germany, with parts of Poland and Slovakia. Four scales and title at left centre. John Cary was considered 'the most representative, able and prolific of English cartographers'. Tooley says, 'As an engraver he was elegant and exact with fine clear lettering and great delicacy of touch'.

Expert repairs to centrefold, some smudges to margins, but a good clean impression. Very good condition.
