Handsome map of the British Isles with an inset of the Orkneys and Shetlands at top left. The New General Atlas was one of the most accurate and best produced atlases of the day. John Thomson’s ‘County Atlas of Scotland’ is generally considered the finest of its kind.

A few areas of darkening and some very watery red wash stains towards right margin. Very good condition.
