A pair of handsome circular hemisphere maps. showing the routes of the most important 18th century explorers. Thomson’s New General Atlas was one of the best produced atlases of the day. His ‘County Atlas of Scotland’ is generally considered the finest of its kind.

Some light offsetting and crease marks, but clean and fresh. Very good condition.
