Handsome pair of maps of Britain, the northern part extends as far south as Anglesey. The southern part continues southwards from North Wales to the south coast. Inset view of ‘The Rope Bridge between the Islands of Holyhead and Anglesey’ at top right of northern part, and of ‘New Custom House near London Bridge’at lower right of southern part. The New General Atlas was one of the most accurate and best produced atlases of the day.
Some area of slight darkening, but clean and fresh. Creasing to top right and lower left and closed tear on right margin of northern part. Very good condition.
