A beautiful and detailed chart of the bay to the west of Gibraltar, showing depth soundings, and topographical features in great detail. A decorated cartouche at top left contains the title and a key to many places on the map. Decorative scale at lower right. Tofino(1732-1795) is the best known Spanish Marine cartographer. His Atlas Maritimo established the Prime Meridian (0 degrees) at Cadiz rather than Greenwich.
