Attractive map of England and Wales. Large strapwork cartouche with royal arms at top left. Matthaus Quad was a German cartographer based in Cologne, which, at the time was the centre for German cartography. This map is from his Fascilus Geographicus. It was printed by Johannes Bussemacher.
Very good condition. Wide margins. Some place names are underlined or highlighted in old green and brown.
