Handsome early map of Sweden, Norway and Denmark, with north to the left. Title cartouche at lower left. Matthaus Quad was a German cartographer based in Cologne, which, at the time was the centre for German cartography. This map is from his Fascilus Geographicus. It was printed by Johannes Bussemacher.

Very good condition. Good margins. Coastlines and rivers and a few place-names outlined in brown.
