Handsome map of Hungary and the Danube. Title cartouche at lower right, scale at lower left. Matthaus Quad was a German cartographer based in Cologne, which, at the time was the centre for German cartography. This map is from his Fascilus Geographicus. It was printed by Johannes Bussemacher.

Very good condition. Good margins. River Danube and a few place-names outlined in brown. The map is printed without a border. Some showthrough of text from rear.
