Handsome map of Wurtemberg in southern Germany, vignette portrait of ‘Fridericus D.G. and title at top left. Title cartouche to right of top centre. Matthaus Quad was a German cartographer based in Cologne, which, at the time was the centre for German cartography. This map is from his Fascilus Geographicus. It was printed by Johannes Bussemacher.

Very good condition. Good margins. Forests and riversoutlined in brown and green
