Handsome map of the southern part of Westphalia, as far south as Dusseldorf. Scale on left margin. Title cartouche at top right. Matthaus Quad was a German cartographer based in Cologne, which, at the time was the centre for German cartography. This map is from his Fascilus Geographicus. It was printed by Johannes Bussemacher.
Very good condition. Good margins. Rivers, forests and a few place-names outlined in brown.
