Handsome map of Southwestern Holland with north to the right. Latin text at top left, scales at lower right. Matthaus Quad was a German cartographer based in Cologne, which, at the time was the centre for German cartography. This map is from his Fascilus Geographicus. It was printed by Johannes Bussemacher.
Very good condition. Good margins. Rivers and a few place-names outlined in brown and green.
