A bold and beautiful map within a beaded border. Ornamented cartouche at top left, secondary cartouche at top right with three scales. The sea is decorated with ships, compass and sea monsters, whilst a volcano spews fire in the Andes. The map shows the mid section of the Chilean coast, from the Atacama Desert south to Chiloe
