Oran

Oran is in present day Algeria. The upper half is a map of the Oran, the lower half is a ‘View of the Coast of Oran’. Text at the top in Latin and German, with a legend at the bottom. Seutter issued a very similar plan of Oran, as shown in Potter’s Collecting Antique maps, p69

Very good condition, good margins, closed tear at lower edge near centrefold, expertly repaired, some darkening along centrefold
