A very attractive twin hemisphere Mappe Monde, maps of the poles in the cusps, two diagrams either side of lower centre show solar eclipses. In the lower corners two small antipodean maps, one centred on Europe the other on the South Pacific. Two decorated title cartouches in the upper corners, one in Latin and one in French.

Very good condition. The map itself is crisp and clean. Lower and upper margins are slightly chipped and the top right hand corner margin is missing, not affecting the image or the plate mark.
