Attractive map of Amfile Bay on the Red Sea in Eritrea. Compass point and depth soundings. Inset map of ‘De Rachmah’ at lower right, 3 coastal profiles at lower left. Henry Salt (1785-1827) was an English artist and diplomat who spent several years in Egypt and Abyssinia in the early years of the nineteenth century.
