A beautiful set of four continents by Gerald Valck. Each map shows, in detail, the extent of the exploration of the world in 1700. Each map has separate decorated cartouches for the title and the scales. The map of the Americas has a vignette at lower right of encounters between Europeans and Native Americans. California is shown as an island. Price is for the set of four maps.
