Splendid map of Dorset divided into its hundreds, with decorated cartouche at top left, ships at sea, compass rose, rhumb lines, 4 shields (one is empty) at top right, and the Royal Seal at top centre. The map is very similar to (but more decorative than) Jansson’s map of the same name.

Fine condition. Good wide margins.
