A pair of beautifully detailed engravings showing, in panoramic view, hundreds of children from charity schools sitting in a grandstand on the Strand whilst King George and his entourage process towards St. Pauls. The Strand maypole is shown at right. Text below the print, in English to the right, and in Latin on the left describing the event. Draperies and medals above, scrolls at either end show the words of two hymns that the children sang to the king as he went by. Price is for the pair.
