A very decorative map of Holland and Belgium, with ornamented title cartouche at upper right, and a row of eighteen provincial coats of arms along top edge. Compass rose at sea, north to the right of map. This map, like many by the famed Swiss engraver Matthaus Merian, is very similar to Blaeu’s map of Germania Inferior, but slightly smaller and with different decorations.
