Beautiful map that roughly corresponds to present-day Israel, the West Bank, Jordan, coastal Syria and Lebanon. There is a large vignette on the left side with a decorated title cartouche explaining that the map details the land promised in the Bible to the people of Israel. The vignette shows the coastal areas close to the Mediterranean. Antonio Zatta was one of the leading cartographers and his 'Altante Novissimo' was one of the most beautiful produced in the 18th century.

Good condition with wide margins. Minor fading on the edges due to age, but does not affect overall quality
