Impressive view of Edinburgh with the castle mound to the left and the city stretching out to the right. Two men on horseback gallop towards the city in the foreground, and in the background ships sail in the port at Leith. Coat of arms in top left corner.

In good condition, despite some browning to top and bottom margins, not affecting image, central join is visible but neat.
