Stunning pair of illuminated manuscripts. The Latin text is adorned with initials highlighted in gold leaf and is bordered by a margin with sprays of flowers and acanthus leaves in gold and coloured inks.

Very good condition. Handmade mahogany frame with gold leaf, mounted with a deep burgundy velvet fabric. Frame size: 32 x 38cm (12.5 x 15 inches)
