A beautiful pair of illuminated manuscripts, probably from Paris. Latin text with initials adorned in gold leaf and red and blue filigree.

Very good condition. Handmade painted gold and silver leaf frame, gesso and goldleaf mount, and double glazed to see script on back. Frame size: 24.5 x 29 cm (9.75 x 11.5 inches)
