Detailed plan of this battle in the War of the Spanish Succession - a victory for the Duke of Marlborough, which allowed him to gain control of the Spanish Netherlands. “Explanation” in decorative cartouche in bottom right corner identifies points of military significance marked on the map by letter. Compass below and to left of centre.

Very good condition, despite some slight offsetting at bottom centre right.
