An interesting plan of this part of London, with key buildings drawn in small scale onto the map. Dedicated by an inscription running along the bottom to S.r Joseph Hankey Kn.t and to S.r Charles Asgill Kn.t, whose coats of arms are presented on either side of the title cartouche at the top. Compass rose at bottom. Architectural profiles to the left and bottom right corner, of the parish churches of ‘Alhallows Lombard Street’, ‘Alhallows Staining Crutched Fryers’, ‘St. Clements Eastcheap’ and ‘St. Mary Woolnorth Lombard Street’.
Very good condition, slight tearing to folds in top and bottom margins and small nick in bottom margin, none of which affects plan itself. Good, wide margins.
