This charming and unusual map of the Greek capital focusses on the ruins of the city. It has a centre square within which the ancient buildings are shown enclosed in the modern and ancient walls with little or no road detail. Along three margins panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and waterways are featured and it has vignettes of the ancient secular and sacred buildings along the bottom margin.
