Delisle was an important French cartographer of the early 18th century. He held the position of First Royal Geographer to the King. An interesting and detailed map of Europe with Iceland in top left corner and North Africa lower left. Parts of Arabia lower right and the Caspian Sea in the east. Scandanavia is centre top and the island of Crete centre bottom. Ornate carouche upper left corner.

Overall in good condition - some off-setting and dark patches to lower corner margins A few tears and repairs in lower margins.
