Delisle was an important French cartographer of the early 18th century. He held the position of First Royal Geographer to the King. An attractive map of this West Indies island and it’s neighbours including part of Cuba. Saint Domingue itself is shown with the relief of the land and it’s coastline in detail. Decorative cartouche upper right.

Very good condition - very slight browning to centrefold. Some off-setting and some faint brown spots.
