Beautiful engraving after a drawing by G.H. Andrews. George Henry Andrews (1816 - 1898) was a British professional engineer, marine painter, water-colourist and illustrator. He began exhibiting in 1840 and was elected a member of the Old Watercolour Society in 1856. Later he became the Royal Navy Artist and in 1860, at the peak of his career, he accompanied the Prince of Wales (who became Edward VII) on a tour of Canada.
