Lithograph used for the English edition A of the Henry Moore Shelter Sketchbook.Moore found that printmaking facilitated a departure from his sculptural interests, allowing more freedom to experiment with colour, light and subtleties of tone. His exploration in printmaking techniques can be traced from woodblock prints of 1931.
