This small and decorative antique map by the famous English cartographer Herman Moll shows the North Pol with the adjacent North American continent, Iceland, Spitzbergen, Scandinavia and Russia. In the lower corners with detailed explanations in English. Further on the map was equipped with many place names, mostly along the coasts and several compass roses. It is from Thomas Salmon’s grand work in 32 volumes ‘Modern History: or, the present state of all nations’.
